"After receiving the preorder of Anondra "Kat" Williams' new book, I am excited to share that I finished reading it just a couple of days after its release. True to Anondra's previous work, she doesn't overdescribe but takes her time with the pieces that matter most.
Should I admit out loud that I am attracted to a lesbian werewolf? I thoroughly enjoyed the suspense, the sexual tension, and the dominance portrayed by not one but two characters in a lesbian interaction.
Anondra's ability to depict a traumatic event without triggering or saturating our senses was greatly appreciated.I was genuinely shocked to discover the identity of the Alpha werewolf's Beta. Williams skillfully lifts up black women in power while authentically portraying life as it plays out in our current landscape.
The book successfully combines elements of fantasy and reality, creating a captivating and thought-provoking narrative that kept me engaged from beginning to end.As I read the final pages, I found myself impatiently waiting for a sequel because this left me wanting more. Anondra "Kat" Williams has crafted a world and characters that linger in my thoughts, and I eagerly anticipate the next installment of Small Town Moons: A Savannah Brown Novel."
